TELEHEALTH THERAPY · ILLINOIS & TEXAS
Therapy for high-achieving adults in Illinois and Texas who are tired of performing and look fine from outside while stressed from inside. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, or the quiet sense that something is off, you deserve a space that’s honest, grounded, and built around you.
I provide online therapy for anxiety and depression designed for adults who are tired of pushing through burnout and constant pressure. If you see yourself in that, schedule your first session and get the support you need.
WHO I HELP
Many of the adults I work with appear to have it together. They’re established in their careers, reliable in their relationships, and used to being the one others depend on. On the surface, things look steady. Internally, it can feel very different.
Anxiety lingers, burnout builds, and there’s often a growing sense of disconnection from themselves. If this resonates, you’re not alone. This work is designed for people like you.
Doctors, attorneys, executives, entrepreneurs, and other high-achieving professionals who carry constant pressure to perform, make decisions, and stay composed. There’s little space to slow down, and even less space to process what’s underneath it all.
Individuals building something meaningful while managing uncertainty, self-doubt, and the mental load that comes with it can feel heavy. The inner critic is persistent, and rest can feel undeserved or out of reach.
Those who say, “I’ve been through a lot,” and keep going may find old patterns showing up in relationships, struggles with self-worth, or feeling unlike themselves. It can feel frustrating to know better and still feel stuck in the same cycles.
SPECIALTIES
Each session is personalized to meet your unique needs. Below are some of the areas I commonly help clients navigate using evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT alongside deeper insight work.
01
You appear calm, capable, and in control. But inside, your mind is rarely quiet. We work on understanding what’s driving the anxiety and building real tools for regulation not just coping.
02
Recognising the signs of burnout at work is harder than it sounds when slowing down feels like failure. Therapy creates space to recover, reconnect, and rebuild at a pace that’s sustainable.
03
Big emotions, sudden shutdowns, or a numbness you can’t shake. We work on understanding your nervous system and learning to feel without being flooded or frozen.
04
The “not enough” narrative is exhausting. Whether it shows up as imposter feelings, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting your own voice — we work on changing the relationship you have with yourself.
05
Career changes, relationship shifts, moves, and identity changes all carry emotional weight. You don’t have to navigate them alone or push through without support.
06
Intrusive thoughts, relentless doubt, and compulsions that feel impossible to resist OCD takes up far more mental space than anyone around you realizes. We work on breaking that cycle so it no longer gets to decide how you live.

ABOUT KAHEA
I’m Kahea, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who works with adults who look like they have it together but feel anything but that on the inside. I know that high-achievers often spend years holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling with burnout, anxiety, and emotional patterns they’ve never had the space to address.
My approach is trauma-informed, direct, and deeply practical. I blend CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic insight to help you make sense of where you are, understand how you got there, and build tools that actually work in your life.
I offer virtual therapy through telehealth which means wherever you are in Illinois or Texas, support is accessible. I also accept a range of insurance plans and private pay, because finding online therapy that takes insurance shouldn’t be a barrier to getting the help you need.
With telehealth therapy, you can:
